This geographic layer is a component of the process to produce the statistics and maps shown in the IR. Data from DEQ and non-DEQ contributors collected from Jan. 1 2015 through Dec. 31 2020 was used to characterize each applicable Assessment Unit (AU) within the Commonwealth. <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Display and define all surface waters of the commonwealth identified within the 2022 305(b)/303(d) Water Quality Assessment Integrated Report. Once all features were posted to the server the data was processed via Data Reviewer to correct or remove as many topology and attribution errors as possible, if necessary. A flat file was exported of the attributes to validate against the records in CEDS WQA. The processed GIS data was then posted back to the server and exported via ArcCatalog to a local feature dataset for further processing. The details from the assessment database were compiled per unique AU identifier (AU ID / ID305B) and joined to each AU ID in the GIS feature class. Questions regarding the processing of the AU hydrology data should be directed to the data’s point of contact. Reviewed AU data for each region as data was submitted over the course of months between August 2021 and August 2022.
