Data were created within the ArcGIS 9.x environment and stored in ESRI feature classes. A series of in house validations and topology checks were run on the data.

All hard copy data received were tranformed into GIS data per the defined Page County Scope of Services.
All datasets are expected to be 100% accurate based on topological validation, repeated in-house and cross County validation.
Accuracy is based on the Virginia Base Mapping Program 1:200 and 1:400 scale imagery used for the conversion effort. VBMP digital orthoimagery adheres to Class 1 mapping standards in conformance with Virginia Map Accuracy Standards (1992) and ASPRS (1990), Class 1. Check plots were created for each tax map tile and compared against the original hard copy tax maps and VBMP imagery.
