Service Description: This map service has been created for the Virginial Coastal Resources Tool and the Virginia Coastal Viewer. These layers have been created by the Center for Coastal Resources Management (CCRM) at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS). These layers are an update of the Virginia Shoreline Inventory and an upgrade of the Shoreline Management Model (SMM), now at version 6.0. Updates are in progress. New localities will be added annually in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
